  • The Pro Plan is compatible with the full Yoco POS product suite.

  • There are no setup or connectivity fees on any of the Yoco Plans, and the Yoco POS App is free to use across all three plans.

Transaction fees are applied as a percentage of each transaction you process with Yoco and are based on your transaction volumes:

** To qualify for the lower rate, your turnover must average over R50,000 per month for a consecutive 3-month period.

Please note: Online payments typically have slightly higher transaction fees than card machine payments. The good news is that your online and in-person sales work together to help you qualify for lower rates.

VAT on transaction fees

We're required by law to charge 15% VAT on all transaction fees. For example, if you make a sale for R100 with a transaction fee of 1.95% (ex. VAT):

Yoco fee (1.95% ex. VAT) = R1,95

VAT on fee (15%) = R0,29

Total fee (incl. VAT) = R2,24

Payout total = R100 – R2,24 = R97,76

If you’re registered for VAT, you can claim it back from SARS.

💬 Pro Plan FAQs

Is the Pro Plan the same as the Accelerate Plan? Yes, the Accelerate Plan changed to the Pro Plan on 1 June 2026. The monthly subscription fee remains R499.

What’s included in the Pro Plan trial? The 30-day free trial gives you access to all the Pro Plan benefits so you can test whether it’s the right fit before you start paying the monthly subscription.

Who is the Pro Plan for? The Pro Plan is for established, higher-complexity businesses that need more operational control and efficiency. These include businesses that:

  • Run multi-location operations (e.g., multi-store retail or salon groups)

  • Run busy service environments often with a separate kitchen

  • Need advanced accounting integrations (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) to avoid manual reconciliation

  • Value dedicated priority support and “no downtime” support coverage

Is there a setup fee or connectivity fee on the Pro Plan? No, there's no setup or connectivity fee for any of the Yoco Plans.

Do I still get a full month’s subscription free if I sign up mid-month? Yes, if you sign up for the Pro Plan on 15 July 2026, for example, your first 30 days will be free. On the day the trial period ends, you'll be billed for the remaining days in that calendar month. After that, you'll be billed monthly at the start of each month.

Do I need to apply for the lower transaction fees once I reach R50,000 in sales per month? No, your transaction fees automatically decrease once your monthly sales go over R50 000 for three consecutive months.

How does the Pro Plan differ from the Plus Plan? The Pro Plan includes everything in the Plus Plan, as well as these key upgrades:

  • Full accounting integrations (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)

  • Table management + Tableside ordering

  • Prep stations

  • Free Fast Payouts

  • Lowest Yoco transaction rates

Can I use the Pro Plan across multiple locations? Yes, the Pro Plan supports multi-location merchants – you can add as many locations as you need to your Yoco profile free of charge until 31 June 2026. From 1 July 2026, the first location will remain free, and any additional locations will be charged per location. This change applies to all Pro Plan merchants, including those who sign up before 1 July 2026.

My business processes R200,000 per month. Do I qualify for custom pricing on the Pro Plan? Yes, you can qualify for custom rates on the Pro Plan as long as your total sales (across all your stores) exceed R200,000 for at least three consecutive months.

What's the difference between Standard Support and Priority Support? Standard Support gives you access to Yoco’s support channels during standard operating hours, as well as 24/7 AI-enabled support. Priority Support lets you skip the queue for faster response times, so urgent issues are handled faster and your business experiences less downtime.
