Smart Receipts are already working hard for your business, automatically going out after every payment to customers who opt in.
Custom Receipts help you make each receipt work even harder. Add your logo, contact details, location on a map, and a link to your menu, booking page, latest special, or anything else that helps to build your brand.
Set it up once in the Yoco App (mobile or web), and let every receipt that goes out take your business forward, and your customers coming back.

The following four sections show on your Custom Receipt:
→ Business name, logo + tagline
Your business name, logo and tagline automatically appear at the top of every receipt using the information stored in your Business details.
→ Contact details
Your address, contact information, website address, and social media links appear in a dedicated section making it easier for customers to contact and follow you. A map preview shows customers exactly where your business is located, making it easier for them to find you.
→ Banner
A custom banner with your logo and a call-to-action button takes customers directly to wherever you want them next: your menu, booking page, latest specials or promotions, or any other URL you choose.
💡 Good to know: Custom Receipts works across your entire account and the information you add appears on all your digital receipts.
→ Loyalty balance
If you've enabled Yoco Loyalty, registered customers will see the points they've earned from their latest purchase, plus their loyalty balance, on their receipt. Customers who haven't joined yet can sign up in one tap, straight from the receipt.

Setting up Custom Receipts
Go to your Business settings by selecting your business name in the top right corner of your screen (mobile app) or from the menu on the left of your screen (web app).
Select the Receipt settings tile/widget.
Select the Edit button next to the Receipt heading to add or change any of the following information:
Business tagline
Footer
Business details
Logo
Trading name
Mobile number
Business email
Business website
VAT number
Default tax
💡 Good to know: In this section, you can also toggle on Display business details to show your address and contact information on your receipt.Select the Save button to save your changes.
Select the Setup button next to the Banner heading, then add the following:
Title – a short line that tells customers what they'll find when they tap. Keep it specific (e.g. 'View this week's specials' or 'Book your next appointment').
Additional text – a short line with any additional detail you want to share with your customers.
Image (optional) – upload a banner image to give your message a visual boost.
Link – the URL you'd like customers to land on when they tap the button.
Select the Publish button at the top of the screen to publish the new additions to your custom banner.
💡 Good to know: There's one active banner per account. Change it as often as you need to keep customers up to date with what’s happening in your business.
Editing Custom Receipts
Go to your Business settings by selecting your business name in the top right corner of your screen (mobile app) or from the menu on the left of your screen (web app).
Select the Receipt settings tile/widget.
Select the Edit button next to the Receipt heading to change your business details.
Select the Edit button next to the Banner heading to save any of the information on your banner.
When you're happy with your updates, select the Publish button.
💡 Good to know: If you update or remove your banner, customers who've previously been sent a receipt will see the latest version the next time they open the receipt.
❗ Important: South African law requires that your receipt includes your registered business name, VAT number (if applicable), physical address, and company registration number. These always appear on your receipt and can't be changed by your custom content.

Which Yoco Plans offer the Custom Receipts feature? Custom Receipts is included in the Plus Plan and Pro Plan.
Can I set different banners for different locations? No, Custom Receipt settings apply across your entire account.
What if my customer hasn't opted in to Smart Receipts? Customers who haven’t opted in to Smart Receipts can still receive receipts after each Yoco transaction – they’ll just need to select the Get receipt button once the sale has been completed.
Can I turn Custom Receipts off? Yes, you can toggle the Banner switch off at any time in your Receipt settings.
