Yoco & TallOrder Integration

Learn how to connect Yoco Payments with TallOrder point of sale to help your business run smoother from front-of-house to kitchen.

Connect Yoco Payments to your TallOrder point of sale and keep orders, payments, stock and reporting in sync. One connected system helps your front-of-house and back-of-house run smoother, so your team can serve faster and your customers get a more professional experience.

✨ The Yoco/TallOrder integration is available with the Yoco Go and Neo Touch card machines.

Please note: If you’re using a Neo Touch device, make sure its connected to the internet – look for a bold Y on the top left of the screen, next to the time.


Connecting Yoco to TallOrder


  1. Log in to TallOrder Admin.

  2. Go to Settings → Finance → Payment Types.

  3. Select the New Payment Type button to add Yoco LDPP as a payment type.

  4. Select Yes for the ‘POS Enabled’ option and choose Yes or No for ‘Refunds Enabled’, ‘Ask for Tips’ and ‘Manager PIN Required’ – depending on your requirements. Leave ‘External Codes’, ‘Levy Types’, and ‘Levy Values’ on their default settings.

  5. Scroll down to complete your customisation by selecting Yes or No for ‘Open Cash Drawer’, ‘Allow payment type change’, ‘Pay accounting directly’, and ‘Reference Required’. Select Yes for the ‘Enabled’ option.

    Please note:

    • Select YES for ‘Open Cash Drawer’ if the cash drawer should open when this payment type is used.

    • Select YES for ‘Allow payment type change’ if this payment type can be altered after payment has been made.

    • Select YES for ‘Pay accounting directly’ if payments are paid directly into the accounting system.

  6. Select the Save button and publish your changes.

  7. Login to TallOrder POS and select your ‘Local Yoco:’ device via Settings → Administrative Tools → Configure Device Payment Mapping.

  8. In the Local Device Payment Settings pop-up, open the Yoco LDPP dropdown and select ‘Local Yoco:’.

  9. Open a tab checkout and select the Yoco payment method.

  10. Tap the Complete Checkout button.

  11. A carousel will appear on your screen. Select the This is my card machine button when you see your Yoco card machine.

  12. Select the card machine that matches your device’s serial number.

  13. When the Yoco sign in pop-up appears, sign in with your Yoco username and password, then select your Yoco machine.

    💡 Good to know: Once your card machine has been linked, you won’t need to sign in each time.

  14. Ask your customer to tap, insert or swipe their card on your Yoco device to complete the transaction.
