As your business grows, the tools and features you need may change too. Whether you're looking for lower transaction rates, advanced business tools, or a more affordable plan, you can easily upgrade or downgrade your Yoco plan from the Yoco App (mobile or web).
Upgrading your Yoco Plan
If you're currently on the Core or Plus Plan, you can switch up at any time. Upgrading gives you access to additional business tools, lower transaction rates, and features designed to support your growing business.
Go to your Business settings by clicking on your business name in the bottom left corner of the Yoco Web App, or tap on it in the top right corner of the Yoco Mobile App.
Select the Plans tile/widget.
When the screen opens up, you'll be able to see:
Your current plan
Monthly subscription fee
Billing information
Transaction rates
As you switch between the tabs, you can review the following plan details:
Monthly fee
Transaction rates
Fast Payout availability
Plan features (if features are unavailable on a certain plan, they'll be greyed out in the features list)
To view a side-by-side comparison of your current plan and the plan you're thinking of switching up to, select the View full plan comparison button.
Once you've decided on the plan you'd like to upgrade to, select the Upgrade to Plus or Upgrade to Pro button, depending on your chosen plan.
A plan breakdown will open showing:
Start date
Billing method
Transaction fees
Monthly subscription fee
Review the details and select the Upgrade to button.
A success message will appear as soon as your upgrade has been confirmed. Your new plan benefits and rates will be activated automatically.
Select the Done button.
Downgrading your Yoco Plan
Whether you're simplifying your setup, using fewer features, or looking for a plan that better suits how you do business today, you can downgrade your Yoco Plan in the Yoco App (mobile or web) in just a few steps.
Go to your Business settings by clicking on your business name in the bottom left corner of the Yoco Web App, or tap on it in the top right corner of the Yoco Mobile App.
Select the Plans tile/widget.
As you switch between the tabs, you can review the following plan details:
Monthly fee
Transaction rates
Fast Payout availability
Plan features
To view a side-by-side comparison of your current plan and the plan you're thinking of switching down to, select the View full plan comparison button.
Once you've decided on the plan you'd like to downgrade to, select the Downgrade to Core or Downgrade to Plus button, depending on your chosen plan.
Select a reason for downgrading:
It doesn't make financial sense for my business
I don't need the extra features
I'm not sure how it works
Other (if you select this option, you can provide additional feedback in the text field).
Select the Continue button.
A banner will appear confirming that your plan has been changed and displaying the date that the downgrade will take effect.
If you change your mind before the downgrade date, select the Cancel change button in the banner and follow the prompts.
💬 Yoco Plans FAQs
When will my new plan take effect? If you upgrade your plan, your new plan and its features will be available as soon as your upgrade has been successfully processed in the Yoco App (mobile or web). If you downgrade your plan, your new plan and its features will be available on the scheduled downgrade date provided in the Yoco App (mobile or web).
Can I change my plan at any time? Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your Yoco Plan at any time in the Yoco App (mobile or web).
Can I cancel an upgrade after I've confirmed it? Once an upgrade has been completed, it can't be cancelled. If you want to change to a different plan, you'll need to complete the upgrade process again it in the Yoco App (mobile or web).
What happens to my features when I downgrade? When your downgrade takes effect (you'll be given a scheduled downgrade date in the Yoco App (mobile or web), you'll move to the features and benefits included in your new plan.
Can I cancel a scheduled downgrade? If your scheduled downgrade has not yet taken effect, you can cancel the change in the Yoco App (mobile or web).
Will changing my plan affect my ability to transact with Yoco? No, you can continue accepting payments as normal while changing your plan.
Can I move between Yoco Plans more than once? Yes, you can change your plan whenever your business needs change.
