With Prep Stations (available on the Accelerate Plan), you can send specific product categories to print at the right prep station – all from the same order on your Counter, Khumo, and/or Khumo Print.
✔️ Speedier service
Orders go to the right prep station, so staff can get food and drinks out faster.
✔️ Fewer mistakes
Prep stations only print the items they prepare, reducing mix-ups and missed items.
✔️ More focus
No more calling out orders or walking slips around – your space stays quieter and easier to manage.
💡 Before you start: Prep stations can only be used with product catalogues where individual products have been added to categories. Click here to find out everything you need to know about creating a product catalogue, adding categories, and then adding your products to these categories.

✨ Are you using a Khumo and/or Khumo Print to take orders on the go? If you're using handheld devices with prep stations, make sure that you've assigned them to the same location as your Yoco Counter (if you're using our Locations feature). This will ensure that all orders taken on your Khumo and/or Khumo Print will automatically print to the correct prep station. Click here for a step-by-step guide.
