Once you've set up table management in the Yoco App (mobile or web), the Tables tab will appear automatically on all your linked Khumo devices, so your staff can take orders and manage tables straight from the floor. No extra setup needed.
Starting a new order on a table
Tap the Tables tab on your Khumo home screen.
Select an available table.
💡 Good to know:After selecting an open table, enter the number of guests and tap the Seat guests button.
Add items to your order by tapping on the products in your product catalogue. Tap the Add to order button before adding the next product.
Once you've added all the items to your order, tap the View order button.
Tap the Send button to send the order through to the kitchen.
As soon as the order has been sent, you'll be returned to the Tables tab.

💡 Good to know: Sit-down orders are attached to a table automatically. Takeaway orders remain unattached – they flow through the Orders tab instead.
Adding items to an open table
Go to the Tables tab.
Tap the table number to reopen the order.
Tap the + Add items button and start adding new items to the order.
When you've finished adding the new items, tap the View order button.
Tap the Send button to send the new item(s) to the kitchen.
Charging and closing a table
Go to the Tables tab.
Tap the table number to reopen the order.
Review the order and if you're happy with it, tap the Charge button.
Select a payment method.
Once the payment has been approved, the table status will reset to Available.
❗ Important: Once an order is closed, it can't be re-opened or edited. Double-check the order is complete before charging.
Changing the number of guests on a table
You can update the guest count at any point while a table is open.
Go to the Tables tab.
Tap the table number to reopen the order.
Select the three vertical dots in the top right corner of your screen.
When the pop-up appears, select the Edit guests option from the list.
Adjust the number of guests, then select the Seat guests button.
Transferring a table
If guests move to a different table, or an order has been assigned to the wrong table, you can move it without losing any order data.
Go to the Tables tab.
Tap the table number to reopen the order.
Select the three vertical dots in the top right corner of your screen.
When the pop-up appears, select the Transfer table option from the list.
Select the table you'd like to move the order to, then tap the Transfer button.
💡 Good to know: The full order history (items, guest count, time open etc.) carries over when a table is transferred.
Moving a table to takeaway
Plans changed? You can convert a sit-down order into a takeaway order at any time.
Go to the Tables tab.
Tap the table number to reopen the order.
Select the three vertical dots in the top right corner of your screen.
When the pop-up appears, select the Move to takeaway option from the list and the order will immediately change to a takeaway order – an order number will automatically be assigned to it.
☀️ Want a fresh start each day? Head to Manage → Orders in the Yoco App (mobile or web) and enable a daily order number reset. Your order numbers will automatically start from #1 again at either 12am or 5am, making it easier to keep track of orders day by day.
Changing the staff member on a table
Need to hand a table over to another staff member? Whether it's a shift change or a change in service, you can update the assigned staff member at any time.
Go to the Tables tab.
Tap the table number to reopen the order.
Select the three vertical dots in the top right corner of your screen.
When the pop-up appears, select the Transfer staff option from the list.
Tap the name of the staff member you want to assign to the table – the staff member's name will now reflect at the top of the screen next to the table details.
Viewing your Tables report
Your Tables report lives in your Reports dashboard and includes a breakdown of gross sales, guests served, tables turned, plus a whole lot more.
