Yoco Capital is a fast, flexible cash advance designed to help businesses like yours access funding quickly and easily. It can be used for anything business-related, including renovations, buying extra stock, managing cash flow during quieter periods, opening a new store, and staff training.
Grow your business with a cash advance
A once-off ‘cost of capital’ fee plus a R100 admin fee are added to your balance from day one and paid back along with the rest of your Capital advance. The ‘cost of capital’ fee never changes, even if it takes longer than expected to pay back your cash advance.
There's no collateral, paperwork or hidden costs.
There's no need to explain why you need the capital or what you're using it for.
Repayments are calculated as a percentage of your daily sales, agreed upfront with no fixed repayment term. You can choose the repayment percentage that suits your cashflow needs.
Once you’ve received final approval on your cash advance, funds will be in your bank account within 1–2 business days.
Because your Yoco Capital repayments are calculated as a percentage of your daily sales, the more sales you make, the faster your Yoco Capital advance is repaid. On the days you don’t make any sales, no repayment is deducted.
How to qualify for Yoco Capital
Yoco Capital offers are generated automatically – no application or paperwork is required. To be considered for a cash advance from Yoco, you must meet these minimum criteria:
Transacted with Yoco for 6 months or more.
Processed at least 10 Yoco transactions in the last 90 days.
Processed at least R4,000 in Yoco card payments every month for the last three months in a row.
💡 Good to know: If you don't have an offer right now, your account hasn't met the criteria yet. Keep selling, and we'll keep checking.
❗Important:
Meeting the minimum criteria outlined above doesn't guarantee that you'll receive a Yoco Capital offer.
Previous qualification doesn't guarantee a new offer.
Our lending partners evaluate multiple risk factors and conduct a comprehensive risk assessment that's unique to your specific business.
Offers are subject to our partners' current lending criteria.
Any lapse in CIPC compliance, such as missing or outdated annual returns, could prevent offers from being approved or processed.
What if you don’t qualify for a Yoco Capital offer?
If you don't have a Yoco Capital offer in the Yoco App (mobile or web), keep using your Yoco card machine to build your transaction history and make sure all repayments on existing advances are up to date – repaying your cash advance slower than expected can affect your eligibility for future offers.
Once you meet the minimum criteria, your account will automatically be reviewed (no application required) and you'll be considered for a cash advance.
Where to view your Yoco Capital offer
If you qualify for Yoco Capital, an offer will automatically be generated in the Yoco App (mobile or web). You'll be notified of your offer via email and a widget displaying the offer amount will display on the Hub tab.
Your offer is valid for at least 24 hours, after which it may change or expire at our lending partners' discretion.
To view your offer, select the widget on the Hub tab, or follow the steps below:
Select the Money tab.
Select the Yoco Capital tile/widget.
When the Yoco Capital page opens, look for your offer in the blue block at the top of your screen. If no offer is currently available, you'll see this message.
💡 Good to know: Only business owners are able to view the Yoco Capital offer in the Yoco App (mobile or web).
On the Yoco Capital page you can also:
Repeat Yoco Capital offers
Once you’ve repaid your cash advance, you’ll be assessed to see if you qualify for a repeat Yoco Capital offer.
If you repaid your advance within the estimated term, you could receive a new offer immediately.
If you took longer than expected to repay your previous Capital advance, you can expect to wait 3–6 months before seeing a new offer.
Note: Being approved for a Yoco Capital offer doesn't guarantee that you’ll qualify for a future one.
Yoco Capital re-advances
A Yoco Capital re-advance tops up an existing advance before you’ve finished paying it off – unlike a repeat offer, which only becomes available once your previous advance is fully repaid. Here's how it works.
Sixty days into the repayment period on your Yoco Capital advance, our system automatically conducts daily assessments on your profile based on your transaction patterns and repayment history. Your transactions must show consistency, and your outstanding balance should be on track for repayment within the agreed term.
If you qualify for a re-advance and accept it, your current Yoco Capital advance is closed and the outstanding balance is added to your new advance (only one open Yoco Capital advance is permitted per profile).
You’ll be charged a once-off upfront fee that covers your re-advance amount as well as your outstanding amount.
💡 Good to know: A R100 admin fee applies when you take a re-advance.
If you don’t qualify for a Yoco Capital re-advance, you may still be offered a repeat Yoco Capital advance once you’ve repaid your existing one.

Can I be declined after I’ve been pre-approved for an offer?
Yes, this can happen. An offer may be declined during final verification if, for example, there are issues with your CIPC registration or credit report, outstanding advances with other financial institutions, or changes in your business status before payout. You’ll be notified if the status of your application changes.
My advance has been approved. Why haven't I received my funds?
My advance has been approved. Why haven't I received my funds?
If your funds haven't arrived within three business days, it may be due to a CIPC verification issue. Before issuing funds, we verify all businesses' CIPC status. If a company shows as deregistered or has outstanding annual returns, the offer is cancelled. If your company has outstanding annual returns:
Submit them to the CIPC (click here for instructions).
Ensure your company registration is brought up to date.
Wait approximately 48 hours after CIPC updates your status.
