What's changed since 1 June?
We've made some exciting changes to Yoco Plans and fees:
Reduced our Yoco transaction rates.
Removed connectivity fees across all Yoco Plans.
Created three feature-filled Yoco Plans: Core (existing), Plus (new) and Pro (previously Accelerate).
Designed our plans with different stages of the business journey in mind.

Plus, if you process more than R200,000 per month for at least three consecutive months, you can apply for custom transaction rates within your chosen plan.

If your business transacts more than R200 000 per month for three months in a row, you qualify for custom rates and a dedicated account manager on any of the Yoco Plans. Start a conversation with our Support Team via our in-app chat to find out more about your new, lower rate.
💡 Good to know: If you're thinking about switching to Yoco, or you're already using Yoco and would like to make it your primary payment option, we require a recent 3-month merchant statement (proving that you transact over R200,000 per month) before we can put you on our custom rate.

How to check your Yoco Plan
Select your business profile by clicking on your business name in the bottom left corner of the Yoco Web App, or tapping on it in the top right corner of the Yoco Mobile App.
When the Business settings page opens up, select the Plans tile.
When the Plans page opens up, you'll see the name of your current plan at the top of your page, as well as a detailed list of all your Yoco fees.
Yoco fees
✨ Your transaction fees and monthly subscription fee (Plus and Pro Plans only) are reflected on your Yoco tax invoice. You can view and download them by selecting the Tax invoices tile/widget in your Business settings.
→ Transaction fees
You pay a transaction fee every time you accept a payment online or with your Yoco card machine. Fees are charged as a percentage of each transaction.
As soon as your business processes more than R50,000 in transactions for three consecutive months, you’ll automatically unlock lower rates on every plan, including the Core Plan. At this level, local debit and credit card transactions are charged at slightly different rates to reflect industry pricing differences between debit and credit payments.

VAT on transaction fees
By law, we're also required to charge 15% VAT on our transaction fees. So, if you make a sale for R100 with a transaction fee of 2.30% (ex. VAT), the following transaction fees and VAT on those transaction fees will be deducted before you are paid out:
Yoco transaction fee (2.30% ex. VAT) = R2,30
VAT on fee (15%) = R0,35
Total fee (incl. VAT) = R2,65
Payout total = R100 – R2,65 = R97,35
If you’re registered for VAT, you can claim it back from SARS.

Subscription fees payment
Your subscription fee is deducted from your first payout in the month following your first month’s free subscription. So if, for example, you upgrade in September, your first monthly subscription fee will be deducted from your first payout in October (the subscription fee is paid in advance, not arrears).
✨ Signed up mid-month? If you sign up for the Plus or Pro Plan in the middle of the month, your first 30 days are free on the trial. On the day the trial period ends, you'll be billed for the remaining days in that calendar month. After that, you'll be billed monthly at the start of each month. For example, if you sign up for the Plus Plan on 11 June, your free trial runs until 11 July. On 11 July, you'll pay a pro-rated fee of R152.61 (19/31 × R249) for the rest of the month. Your August subscription fee will be deducted from your first payout in August.
✨ Once you’ve paid your subscription fee(s) and your balance exceeds the minimum payout amount of R50, you’ll receive your first payout for the month.

What’s the difference between the Core, Plus, and Pro Plans?
Core: R0/month – best for starting or seasonal businesses that want simple, reliable payments.
Plus: R249/month (30-day free trial) – best for scaling businesses that want growth tools and multi-location capabilities.
Pro: R499/month (30-day free trial) – best for mature or higher-complexity businesses wanting maximum control.
Is there a setup fee or connectivity fee on any of the Yoco Plans? No, there's no setup or connectivity fee for any of the Yoco Plans.
What happens when my 30-day trial ends? Once you free trial ends on the Plus or Pro Plan, you’ll move onto the paid subscription fee for that plan, unless you downgrade or cancel first.
Do I need to apply for the lower transaction fees once I reach R50 000 in sales per month? No, your transaction fees automatically decrease once your monthly sales go over R50 000 for three consecutive months.
When can I change plans? There's no lock-in or contract with any of the Yoco Plans – you can switch between them as your business needs and goals change.
Which of the Yoco Plans offer accounting integrations?
The Pro Plan includes the stub, Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks accounting integrations.
Are there different payout options per plan? All Yoco Plans offer Standard and Weekly Payout free of charge. The Plus and Pro Plans offer better payout fees for Instant and Fast Payout – Fast Payout is free on the Pro Plan.
My business processes R200,000 per month. Do I qualify for custom pricing? Yes, you can qualify for custom rates on any of the Yoco Plans as long as your total sales (across all your stores) exceed R200,000 for at least three consecutive months.
What's the difference between Standard Support and Priority Support? Standard Support gives you access to Yoco’s support channels during standard operating hours, as well as 24/7 AI-enabled support. Priority Support lets you skip the queue for faster response times, so urgent issues are handled faster and your business experiences less downtime.
