How to Use your Personal Settings

Learn about your Personal settings – where to find them in the Yoco App, what you can do with them, and how you can update them.

Once you've signed up with Yoco and completed your Yoco profile, all the information you've provided is stored in your Personal settings and Business settings in the Yoco App (mobile or web).

Your Personal settings are all about you, the business owner.

💡 Top tip: To access your Personal settings, click on the initials icon or your name in the bottom left corner of the Yoco Web App, or tap on it in the top right corner of the Yoco Mobile App.

On the Personal settings tab, you'll find several tiles/widgets that allow you to view and update your personal details, change your password, get help, and more.

Let's take a closer look.


1. Personal details


Please note:

  • Updating your personal settings is always password protected.

  • Information may need to be verified before changes can be reflected.

  • Greyed out details require extra verification and can only be changed by contacting Yoco Support via our in-app chat.

From the Personal details tile/widget, you can change your:

  • Personal details: Mobile number and email address linked to your Yoco profile.

  • Communication preferences: Who receives your Sales reports, Tax invoices, and Stock alerts, and how often they receive them.

2. Reset password


Your Yoco password is used to log in to the Yoco App (mobile or web), Yoco POS App, Yoco Counter, and your Yoco card machines.

3. Get help


Select the Get Help tile/widget in your Personal settings and start a chat with a Yoco consultant by selecting the blue chat icon in the bottom right corner of your screen.



4. Legal


Select the Legal tile/widget in your Personal settings to view Yoco's:


5. Delete my account


Select the Delete my account tile/widget in your Personal settings to find out how you can delete your Yoco account.


6. Log out


Select the Log out button in the top right corner of your Personal settings to log out of your Yoco profile. This ensures that your profile remains secure and that it can only be accessed if you (or a staff member) log back in.
