How to Buy a Yoco Card Machine

6 ways to buy a Yoco card machine

💡 Good to know: If you buy your card machines(s) from Yoco.com, or during the sign-up process, or through the Yoco App (mobile or web), your card machine will already be linked to your Yoco profile when it arrives.

1. Buying a card machine from Yoco.com


Visit Yoco.com to shop the Khumo 2 and Khumo Print 2 card machines and pay for them with your debit or credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Payflex.

Please note: The Neo Touch is only available as part of the Yoco Counter point of sale system on Yoco.com – it can't be bought as a standalone card machine on our website. If you want to use it as a standalone device, you'll find it for sale at Incredible Connection, HiFi Corp, Checkers Hyper, Computer Mania, Makro, Builders (selected stores) and Game (selected stores). Please contact the store first to check that they have stock.


2. Buying a device when you sign up


One of the easiest ways to buy a Yoco card machine is during the Yoco sign-up process. When you get to the How will you be accepting payments? screen, select the ‘I need to buy a card machine’ option and we’ll guide you through buying the Khumo 2 or Khumo Print 2 card machine.


3. Buying a card machine through the Yoco App


If you’ve already signed up with Yoco and completed your profile, but didn’t buy a Yoco card machine during the sign-up process, you can buy a Khumo 2 or Khumo Print 2 through the Yoco App (mobile or web). This is also an easy way to add extra card machines to your business. Here’s how.

  1. Go to your Business Settings by selecting your business name in the top right corner of your screen (mobile app) or from the menu on the left of your screen (web app).

  2. Select the Card machines tile.

3. Select the black Buy card machine button at the top of the screen.

4. When the Yoco website opens up, select the Khumo 2 or Khumo Print 2 and add it to your cart.

5. Select the blue Proceed to delivery address button to enter the address you’d like your new Yoco card machine to be delivered to.

6. Select the blue Proceed to payment button to complete the sale.


4. Buying a card machine from a retail outlet


Yoco card machines are available from several retail outlets and online stores, which are listed below. We recommend contacting your nearest branch before making the trip, as supply may be limited and promotions may vary.

Linking your card machine to your profile

If you buy your new device from a retailer, you’ll need to link it to your Yoco profile before you can start taking payments with it.

Find out how

  1. Log in to the Yoco App (mobile or web).

  2. Go to your Business settings by selecting your business name in the top right corner of your screen (mobile app) or from the menu on the left of your screen (web app).

  3. Select the Card machines tile and then the + Card machine button.

  4. Enter the serial number for your card machine – you’ll find it on the back of your device. Include all the numbers and/or letters that appear after 'S/N'.

  5. Select Confirm to save the new card machine to your profile.

✨ Please note: The Neo Touch isn’t available on Takealot. You can buy it as a standalone card machine from our other retail partners.

✨ If you’ve bought your card machine from one of our retail partners before signing up with Yoco, please select the option 'With my existing Yoco card machine', during the sign-up process. You'll be asked to enter the serial number for the card machine, which you'll find on a sticker on the back of the device – include all the numbers and/or letters that appear after 'S/N'.


5. Buying a card machine from Mr D

Linking your card machine to your profile

If you buy your new device from TakealotNOW, you’ll need to link it to your Yoco profile before you can start taking payments with it.

  1. Log in to the Yoco App (mobile or web).

  2. Go to your Business settings by selecting your business name in the top right corner of your screen (mobile app) or from the menu on the left of your screen (web app).

  3. Select the Card machines tile and then the + Card machine button.

  4. Enter the serial number for your card machine – you’ll find it on the back of your device. Include all the numbers and/or letters that appear after 'S/N'.

  5. Select Confirm to save the new card machine to your profile.

6. Buying a card machine second hand


If you decide to buy a card machine second hand (or you’d like to sell one that you currently own), the original owner will need to remove the card machine from their Yoco profile, so that the new owner can add it to their Yoco profile. This process is called transfer of ownership.

How is my device delivered?


If you buy your Yoco device from Yoco.com, or when you sign up with Yoco, or via the Yoco App, we’ll deliver it to you free of charge through our delivery partner, CCD Couriers.

How do I track my order?


If you buy your Yoco device from Yoco.com, or when you sign up with Yoco, or via the Yoco App, you can track your order to find out where it is, and when it’ll be arriving at your front door, through the Yoco App (mobile or web).

  1. Go to your Business Settings by selecting your business name in the top right corner of your screen (mobile app) or from the menu on the left of your screen (web app).

  2. Select the Card machines tile.

  3. Select the Order status tile.

4. A pop-up will appear showing you where your Yoco card machine is in the delivery process and confirming your scheduled delivery date and delivery address.
