How to Change your Password

Find out how you can change your Yoco password to log in to the Reset or change your Yoco password and log in.

Forgotten your password? Or want to reset it for security reasons? Select the scenario below that applies, then follow the steps to change or reset your password so you can get back to running your business safely.


Changing your forgotten password

If you've forgotten your password and you're unable to log in to the Yoco App (mobile or web), the Yoco POS App, or Yoco Counter, select the app or device you're trying to access below and follow the instructions to create a new password.


Yoco App

  1. On the Yoco App (mobile or web) login screen, select the I forgot my password link.

  2. Enter the email address you used when you signed up with Yoco, and we'll email you instructions for creating a new password.

  3. Check your inbox for the reset password email and select the Reset here button.

  4. When the link opens in your browser, enter and confirm your new password.

  5. When you're done, select the Set password button.

  6. Congrats, you can now log in to the Yoco App (mobile or web) with your new password!

🔒 The new password you've created will also give you access to the Yoco POS App and Yoco Counter.


Yoco POS App & Counter

  1. On the Yoco POS App or Counter login screen, select the Log in button.

  2. Select the Forgot your password? link.

  3. Enter the email address you used when you signed up with Yoco, and we'll email you instructions for creating a new password.

  4. Check your inbox for the reset password email, and select the Reset here button.

  5. When the link opens in your browser, enter and confirm your new password.

  6. When you're done, select the Set password button.

  7. Congrats, you can now log in to the Yoco POS App and/or Counter with your new password!

🔒 The new password you've created will also give you access to the Yoco App (mobile or web).


Resetting your password for security reasons

  1. Log in to the Yoco App (mobile or web).

  2. Go to your Personal settings by selecting the initials icon in the top left-hand corner of the Yoco Mobile App or your name in the bottom left-hand corner of the Yoco Web App.

  3. Select the Reset password tile/widget.

  4. Enter your existing password in the Current password field.

  5. Enter a new password and confirm it.

  6. Select Save password.

  7. Congrats, you can now log in to the Yoco App (mobile or web), Yoco POS App, and Yoco Counter with your new password!

IMPORTANT: If you're the Yoco profile owner, and you've added staff members to your business profile, your staff will need to update their passwords on their own profiles.
