What can the Neo Touch do when it’s connected to POS software?
Thanks to cloud technology, your Neo Touch can instantly connect to third party POS software like Lightspeed (K-Series and X-Series) and Loyverse for faster payment processing. And there’s no need for Bluetooth. Plus, using the cloud for payments means enhanced data tracking for superior security and technical support capabilities.
When your Yoco Neo Touch is connected to a third party POS software, you can:

How to set up your Neo Touch with POS software
1. Link your Neo Touch to your Yoco profile
If you bought your Neo Touch from Yoco.com, it should already be linked to your Yoco profile and business, so you’ll be able to transact immediately.
If you bought your Neo Touch from a retail store or secondhand, and you haven’t signed up with Yoco yet, you can do that here. Then, follow these steps below to link your Neo Touch to your Yoco profile.
Log in to the Yoco App (mobile or web).
Go to your Business settings by tapping on your business name in the top right corner of the Yoco Mobile App, or clicking on it in the bottom left corner of the Yoco Web App.
When the Business settings page opens up, select the Card machines tile.
Select the + Add card machine button.
Enter the serial number for your Neo Touch – you’ll find it on the white sticker on the back of your device in the format S/N XXXXXXXXXXX (enter the numbers only).
Select the blue Confirm button.
✨ Seeing an unknown error while trying to link your card machine? If your device was bought secondhand, it’s likely that the error is showing because the card machine is still connected to another Yoco profile. Find out how to transfer a card machine to another profile here.
💡 Good to know: If you have more than one Neo Touch card machine linked to your Yoco profile, you can add a nickname for each one in the Yoco App (mobile or web) and the nickname will appear on the home screen of each device.
Log in to the Yoco App.
Go to your Business settings by selecting your business name in the top right corner of your screen (mobile app) or from the menu on the left of your screen (web app).
Select the Card machines tile.
Select the Add nickname button with the pencil icon and enter a nickname of your choice.
As soon as the changes you’ve made in the Yoco App (mobile or web) sync with your Neo Touch, you’ll see the nickname displayed on the home screen. If the nickname isn’t displaying, try logging out of the Yoco App, then logging back in.
2. Turn on your Neo Touch
Press and hold the power button on the right side of your Neo Touch for three seconds. Next, enter the email address or phone number linked to your Yoco profile, as well as the password you created when you signed up, and tap Log in.

Your Neo Touch will be in standalone mode until you link it to your POS software – you’ll see a welcome message and two tabs (History and Sales tools) on the home screen.
3. Connect your Neo Touch to your POS software
Lightspeed Restaurant (K-Series) POS
Lightspeed Restaurant (K-Series) POS
✨ To connect Lightspeed to your Neo Touch, you’ll need Lightspeed Restaurant (K-Series) version 23.49 (or higher) on a device running iOS 15.5 or iPadOS 15.5 (or higher). Restaurant POS K-Series is not supported with a beta version of iOS or iPadOS and may not function as expected. Find out more.
You can connect your Neo Touch to Lightspeed Restaurant (K-Series) in two ways:
1. Link with a ‘dummy’ sale
✨ Top tip: Turn off any other card machines that have been linked to Lightspeed Restaurant (K-Series) before, so that the software doesn’t try to connect to them.
In Lightspeed Restaurant (K-Series), select an item and close a sale with Yoco.
Select Connect to another card machine.
Select the Neo Touch from the carousel options and tap This is my card machine.
Select the Neo Touch with your serial number and tap Connect.
Your tablet running the Lightspeed Restaurant app is now connected to your Neo Touch.
Cancel the dummy transaction you created.
2. Link in the Lightspeed Restaurant app Settings
You can also connect your Neo Touch to your POS software from your Lightspeed Restaurant app Settings, if you have the necessary permission to access this feature. Find out more here.
Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) POS
Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) POS
✨ To connect Lightspeed X-Series POS to your Neo Touch, you’ll need Lightspeed X-Series version 5.52.0 (or later) on a device running iOS 15.5 or iPadOS 15.5 (or higher).
Here’s how to connect your Neo Touch to Lightspeed Retail (X-Series):
✨ Top tip: Turn off any other card machines that have been linked to Lightspeed Restaurant (K-Series) before, so that the software doesn’t try to connect to them.
Go to Settings in the Lightspeed Retail POS app.
Select Hardware, then Terminal pairing.
Log in to the Lightspeed Retail POS app with your existing Yoco login details to pair your terminal. It’s only necessary to log in when you connect your Neo Touch for the first time – and only users with admin/manager permissions can complete this step.
Select the Neo Touch from the carousel options and tap This is my card machine.
Select the Neo Touch with your serial number and tap Connect.
Your tablet running the Lightspeed Retail POS app is now connected to your Yoco Neo Touch.
Loyverse POS
Loyverse POS
✨ To connect Loyverse POS to your Neo Touch, you’ll need Loyverse POS version 2.75 (or later) on a device running iOS version 12.0 or higher.
Here’s how to connect your Neo Touch to the Loyverse POS:
Go to Settings, then Payment type.
Select Add payment type.
Select Yoco as your payment type and, if you have multiple stores, choose where you'd like it to be available.
Once you’ve created the payment type, choose to log in to Yoco.
When the login screen appears, log in using the same email address (or mobile number) and password you created when you signed up with Yoco.
Select Neo Touch from the carousel options.
Select the Neo Touch with your serial number and tap Connect.
Your Yoco card machine is now connected to your Loyverse POS.

4. Activate your sales tools
All sales tools must be activated in your Lightspeed or Loyverse POS. Once you’ve enabled them, they’ll automatically be available on your Neo Touch card machine.
Lightspeed Hospitality K-Series POS
Lightspeed Hospitality K-Series POS
To activate the tips and cash payments sales tools on your Neo Touch, configure them in your LightSpeed Restaurant app Settings first.
Lightspeed Retail X-Series POS
Lightspeed Retail X-Series POS
To activate cash payments or selling services on your Neo Touch, set them up in the LightSpeed Restaurant POS X-Series app Settings first.
Loyverse POS
Loyverse POS
You can set up sales tools like cash rounding, shift management and discounts in your Loyverse POS app Settings.
To activate tips, head to the Back Office section of the app, then:
Select Settings.
Select Payment types.
From the listed payment types, select Yoco.
Turn the Collect tip button to the ‘on’ position.
Add up to three pre-set tip percentages.
To enable custom tip amounts, turn the button to the ‘on’ position.
✨ Please note: You can only activate the tips tool in the Loyverse POS app – it can’t be enabled through your Neo Touch sales tools. Once the tool has been activated in the app, it will automatically be enabled on your Neo Touch.
