How to set up your Yoco Counter

1. Install the Yoco Counter and Neo Touch cradle

  • Remove your Yoco Counter and Neo Touch cradle from the box and position them on the countertop, making sure that the tablet screen faces your staff, and the card machine faces your customers when it’s sitting in the cradle.

  • Plug the power cables into both devices, then plug the Neo Touch cradle into the tablet.

  • Finally, plug the Yoco Counter into a surge-protected outlet. Use extension cables if necessary to reach the outlets.

Ports

  • Micro USB-C Port: For fast charging and data transfer

  • USB Type-A Port: Connect up to two peripheral devices, such as printers or scanners.

  • RJ45 LAN Port: For a stable, wired network connection.

2. Connect your Neo Touch to Wi-Fi

  • Power up your Neo Touch, enter your username (the email address or phone number linked to your Yoco profile) and the password you created for your Yoco profile, and tap Log in.

  • On the Neo Touch home screen, tap the Settings (gear) icon in the top left corner.

  • Connect your Neo Touch to the required Wi-Fi network.

💡Good to know: If you’ve forgotten your password, tap the ‘Forgot your password’ link and we’ll send a password reset link to the email address or phone number connected to your Yoco profile.

3. Connect your Yoco Counter to Wi-Fi

  • Turn on your Yoco Counter using the button on the top right of the device.

  • Allow it connect to the nearest network or tap ‘Choose another WiFi or network’ to access Network settings.

  • Select Internet (Networks available), choose your Wi-Fi, and enter the password, if needed.

  • The tablet may take a moment to download updates before it logs in.

Experiencing Wi-Fi issues? Yoco Counter requires a strong, stable Wi-Fi connection. If you’re struggling with your connection, use a Wi-Fi hotspot from another device (with a SIM), insert your own SIM into the Yoco Counter, or connect your Counter directly to the Wi-Fi router with a LAN cable.

4. Pair the Yoco Counter and Neo Touch

  • Log in to the Yoco POS App on the Yoco Counter by entering your username (the email address or phone number linked to your Yoco profile) and the password you created for your Yoco profile.
