There’s a new Yoco POS App, and an updated Yoco Mobile App to better run and manage your sales and business with Yoco! 🎉

If you're considering using the Yoco POS, you can now download the new POS App for free to streamline your sales. The Yoco Mobile/Web App is still where you can manage your Yoco profile, products, staff, and settings - and take your business to the next level.


New to Yoco?

Welcome! Great things are about to start happening, and we're delighted to be a part of it. But first, let's get you what you need to join Yoco and get started!

Step 1: Get the Yoco Mobile App or go to the online Web App

Simply click on this link, or go to app.yoco.com in any web browser. To access the Yoco Mobile App

First, you’ll need to open the Yoco Mobile App page in whichever app store you use. Select an option below, or scan the QR code that pops up after you’ve selected to ‘Sign up’ on your Neo Touch. Here, you can also choose to have the link SMSed to you instead.

Our IOS app is available from the Apple App Store


Our Android app is available from the Google Play Store


Our Huawei app is available from the Huawei AppGallery

You can sign up and complete your profile in the App, and take your business to the next level with epic selling features.

Struggling? Please note that your Android device (phone or tablet) must be running Android 4.4 or above / your Apple device (iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad) must be running iOS 8 or later.

Scanning the QR Code on your Neo Touch help screens:

You need a smartphone, tablet or laptop with a camera and you'll need to be connected to the internet to do this:

  1. Open your camera app.

  2. Point your camera at the QR code and hold steady as if you're taking a picture of it.

  3. Tap on the link when it appears at the top of your screen.

Download the Yoco Mobile App

When you open the app download link (https://www.yoco.com/za/app/), you can just click or tap on "Download" after the Yoco Mobile App page has opened in whichever app store you use. To download Yoco Mobile and complete your profile, you'll need access to WiFi or no more than 250MB of data.

Note: We advise that it’s best to use an iPad or tablet as your countertop solution. Yoco Mobile App is compatible with Android 5 and iOS 12 and higher.

Minimum software requirements:

For iOS:

• iPhone 5S (and above)

• iPod Touch 7th Gen and above

• iPad 5th Gen (and above).

For Android:

• Android 5 Lollipop (and above)

• 800x480 screen resolution and higher

• 3G/LTE internet connectivity

• GPS enabled

• Bluetooth connectivity

• 512MB RAM or more

Step 2: Sign up with Yoco

Download the free Yoco Mobile App and sign up now: https://www.yoco.com/za/app/
Or, simply go to app.yoco.com to access the free Yoco Web App, and sign up online.


Yoco Signup is free and simple. You don't need a registered business or a business bank account - you can also sign up as a sole trader with a private bank account.

What we'll need from you

Note: if you're not the sole owner of the business, you must be a director, partner, or member of the business you're signing up for.

  1. Email address: this will be used to contact you with important messages and notifications about your profile.

  2. Mobile number: this is for security authentication and notifications. Please use an active number for yourself or your business.

  3. Identification: We only accept original identification documents, which must be current and valid (not expired).

    RSA IDs: - Green ID book/ Smart ID card/ SA Passport


    International IDs: - Passport and Work/ Study Visa (that allows business activity)

  4. South African Bank Account: must be transactional (that means, your account can make and take payments). If you're signing up as a sole trader, this bank account must be in your name. For all other signups, the business or organisation must own the bank account.

  5. Address: This is where you operate from, it may also be your home address.

Once you're done, you can start taking payments from your customers straight away, so you never miss a sale. We'll verify your details, before we can pay you out.

Already have a Yoco profile?

Sweet! If you're already part of our ecosystem and you got your Neo Touch from Yoco online, it'll already be assigned to your profile and you can skip ahead to logging in.

If you got your card machine somewhere else, you can link it to your profile by logging in on the Neo Touch with your Yoco profile details.

Step 1: Find the serial number

Get your Neo Touch serial number by turning it over. It'll look something like this:

💡 Please make sure to use the serial number on your Neo Touch card machine, not the one on your charging stand.

Step 2: Link your Neo Touch

Next, head to your Card Machines page in the Manage Tab of the Yoco Web App or Mobile App, and add your card machine by entering the serial number.

Step 3: Make sure your profile is verified for payouts

Check out the Yoco Mobile or Web App and make sure your profile is ready to receive payouts. Find out more here.
