Which Phones/Tablets are Yoco Compatible?

With new smartphones and tablets hitting the market every other day, we've compiled a list of the technical specifications required to download the Yoco Mobile App and connect to your Yoco card machine (if you're pairing your Yoco with a smart device).

iOS

Technical specifications

  • Version 15.1.0 and above

  • Yoco App: Version 10.15.0 and above

Compatible devices

  • iPhone 6S and above

  • iPad Mini 4 / iPad Air 2 / iPad (5th generation) and above

✨ Please note: If your device is listed above, but the app isn't working, make sure you have the latest version of the Yoco Mobile App (available from the App Store).

Android

Technical specifications

  • Android 7 and above

  • 2GB RAM (or more) available

  • 3G/LTE/5G/wireless internet connectivity

  • GPS and Bluetooth connectivity

  • Quad core CPU (recommended for the best experience)

  • Yoco App: Version 10.15.0 or above

Compatible devices

Yoco supports most Android devices released in the past two years.

✨ Please note: If the Yoco App isn't available to download in the Google Play Store, your device hasn't met the minimum requirements.

Unsupported devices

The following devices are not supported by Yoco:

  • Blackberry

  • Windows Phone

  • Vodacom Smart 4 mini

  • Alcatel

  • Hisense

  • Vodafone Smart Tab

  • Acer

  • Karbonn

  • Smartpoynt

  • MediaTek chipset

  • Redmi

  • Sony Experia E4

  • ZTE Blade C310

  • Huawei Ascend Y220

  • Huawei P8 and Huawei P8 lite
