Complete Yoco Signup: Submit key information like your email address and mobile number which we’ll use to create your Yoco profile.
Complete your Yoco profile: Confirm your identity in the Yoco App (mobile or web) with a live selfie and provide us with your business and bank account details so that you can start transacting, viewing reports, and running your business.
Get verified for Yoco payouts: Depending on the way your business is structured, you may need to submit additional documents so that we can verify your business and start paying you out.

Ready to join the Yoco community? Here’s your step-by-step guide to joining 200,000+ business owners who already use Yoco to get paid and grow.
1. Enter your email address and mobile number, and create your password
Your email address and mobile number are the most important part of your profile. You’ll use them as your username to log in to your profile, for security when resetting your password, and for communications and important legal notifications from Yoco about your profile.
✨ Use an email address and mobile number that belong to you and that you use regularly so that we can keep in touch with you and provide support when needed.
2. Confirm your payment needs and expectations
Let us know how you plan to use Yoco and what your expected volume of card payments is likely to be per month so that we can serve and support you even better.
3. Choose how you’d like to get started with Yoco
You have four options to choose from in this step.
Option 1: I have my card machine already
If you already have your Yoco card machine, either because a new one has been delivered to you, or you got it second hand, simply enter the serial number on the back of your card machine.
Option 2: I’ve ordered my card machine
If you’ve ordered your card machine from Yoco online, but CCD Couriers hasn’t delivered it yet, enter the order number they sent you via email. If you’re waiting for another online retail delivery, wait until your card machine arrives and enter the serial number as outlined in option one above.
Option 3: I want to buy a card machine
Choose the Yoco card machine that suits your business needs during the sign-up process, and we’ll deliver for free within three working days.
Option 4: I want to take payments online
Select the online payments option that meets your business requirements.
Yoco Gateway: Accept payments on your online store with our e-commerce integration. Compatible with WooCommerce, Wix and Shopify.
Yoco Link: Accept payments online without a website. Send payment links to your customers on WhatsApp, email, social media or SMS.
Yoco Invoice: Get paid online by sending professional, tax-compliant invoices to your customers with a few clicks.
💡Good to know: If you choose to use the Yoco Payments Gateway for your online store, you'll be asked to enter your website URL, so we can verify that it exists.
✨ Planning to sign up for Yoco online payment options only? If you’re planning to use Yoco’s online payment options only, you won’t need a card machine, but you will still need to create and complete a Yoco profile and get verified for payouts.
4. Enter your business name
This will be displayed on the receipts you send to your customers after a successful payment. If you don’t have a confirmed business name yet, don’t worry, you can update it in your Yoco profile once you’ve decided on one.
5. Enter your trading address
Let us know where your business is located. You can enter an address or use the GPS coordinates of your current location.
🏡 Do you run your business from home? Your trading address may be the same as your home address. We won’t ask you for proof of address during sign-up, but we may ask for it in the future for profile verification.
6. Tell us how your business is structured
It’s important that we know how your business ownership is structured for future profile verification. By law, we need to record all legal persons linked to a Yoco profile.
✨ Please read through these business descriptions carefully before choosing the correct one as this will determine which documents you’ll need to submit to complete the verification process.
7. Enter your name and surname
You must be the sole trader, owner or a director, partner, member or trustee of the business you're signing up for.
8. Select your business category and subcategory
Tell us what your business will be taking payments for (this is also know as your Merchant Category Code or MCC) so that we’re able to meet our legal requirement to classify all transactions processed through Yoco.
