Pro & Lite Discontinued

Missed the news about our discontinued devices? Here’s what you need to know – and how to replace them.

As of May 2025, Yoco has stopped supporting the Yoco Pro and Yoco Lite card machines, which no longer meet the latest security and certification standards from the Payment Association of South Africa (PASA).

If you’re still using either of these devices, and you’ve missed the emails we sent out, here’s what you need to do.

1. Order your replacement device

If you qualified for a FREE Neo Touch replacement device you would have received an email from us recently with a promo code. Order your Neo Touch today from Yoco.com and enter the promo code at checkout. Quick – your code expires on 30 November 2025!

2. Reactivate your account

If your profile hasn’t been active for a while, we have paused it to keep your account secure and meet regulatory requirements. Please follow these steps so that we can get you up and running again:

  1. Log in to the Yoco App (mobile or web) and head to the Complete your profile tile/widget in the Hub tab.

  2. Confirm your business details.

  3. Provide a clear photo of your original ID.

  4. Take a live selfie to confirm your identity.

  5. Add your trading address (this can be the same as your residential address).

  6. Provide proof of your bank account.

💡 Good to know: We accept any of the following forms of ID:

SA Citizens

Non-SA Citizens

• Green ID Book
• Smart ID Card, or
• Barcoded Passport

• Passport and Permit/Visa
• Asylum Seeker Permit
• Refugee ID Book, or
• Permanent Residence Permit

3. Reactivate your SIM card

If your profile hasn’t been used in the last six months, it will have been deactivated. Please follow these steps to order a FREE replacement SIM card:

  1. Send our Support Team this message via our in-app chat: 'My SIM card is deactivated and I'd like to request a replacement.'

  2. Your new SIM card will be delivered to you free of charge by our delivery partner, CCD Couriers.
