No, the Khumo Print is a standalone device – it doesn’t need to be connected to a mobile phone or smart device, and it can’t link to a POS system (yet).

Your Khumo Print can transact with unlimited, ultra-fast 4G or connect to WiFi. No smart device Bluetooth pairing is required.
How long does the Yoco Khumo Print to process a transaction?
The Khumo Print takes less than 2 seconds to process a transaction.
Will I need to pair my Yoco Khumo Print with a smart device?
No, the Khumo Print is a standalone hero and has been designed to meet all your payment needs — whether shared between a team, used for deliveries, or moved across different business locations.
How many paper rolls come with my Yoco Khumo Print?
The Khumo Print comes with 3 x 40 mm thermal paper rolls. These can be easily purchased online and in many stationery shops.
Can I print refund receipts?
Yes, you can print refund receipts via the Sales History on your device.
Can I recon my sales receipts at the end of the day?
No, you can’t currently print a list of daily transactions, but these are always available in your Sales History on the Khumo Print, and in the Yoco App.
How do I print a receipt if I run out of paper during a sale?
You can print as many receipts as you need to at the end of each transaction. However, once you’ve tapped 'Done', you’ll need to access the transaction through your Sales History to print a receipt.
Does the Yoco Khumo Print come charged?
Yes, it arrives fully charged (and raring to go!)
How long does the Yoco Khumo Print's battery last?
Your Khumo Print’s battery should last for a full day’s worth of transacting.
Does the Yoco Khumo Print come with a SIM card?
Yes, the Khumo Print comes with one MTN and one Vodacom SIM card, so you can connect to the strongest signal wherever you are. It also comes with unlimited 4G data. The SIM cards only work in your Khumo Print and should never be removed.
What payment methods can my customer use on the Yoco Khumo Print?
The Khumo Print accepts all major cards, including American Express, via Tap, Chip, Swipe, PIN, and Apple Pay.
How do I activate Sales Tools on the Yoco Khumo Print?
Our tool management feature enables you to activate those Sales Tools that serve your business best. And if your priorities change, simply switch the sales tools on or off according to your needs.
What is the Products tool?
Products makes ringing up a sale quick and easy by allowing you to pre-enter products on the Yoco POS App or Web App. Choose from a complete, detailed list of your products (including variants like size, colour, and brand) and track your sales to identify which products are outshining the rest.
What is the Staff Switching tool?
Staff Switching is a staff management feature that allows you to:
Create individual staff profiles, and easily switch between them, so that you can keep track of staff sales during different shifts.
Cash up for each staff member and, by accessing this data, help your staff keep track of their sales and tips.
Track which staff member is using the card machine (and when) from the Yoco POS App or Web App.
Set up specific permissions for each staff member to protect sensitive information, and allocate unique PINs to ensure secure handovers. These can be changed at any time.
