Log in to WordPress.
Go to My Sites > WP Admin.
Go to Plugins > Add New.
Type Yoco Payments into the search bar.
Select Install Now.
When the installation is complete, select Activate.
3. Activate Yoco on your WooCommerce webshop
Select the Sales tab.
Select the Payment Gateway tile/widget.
Copy the Live Public key and Live Secret key.
Go back to your WordPress Admin Panel.
Open Plugins > Yoco Payment Gateway > Settings.
Paste the Live Public and Live Secret (API) keys.
Choose Save Settings.
Yoco is now linked to your WooCommerce website and you’re ready to take payments!
💡 Good to know: Live keys are for real transactions. If you’d like to test first to make sure that your payments work, use the Test keys with a test card. You’ll find the keys and card under the Test Keys heading on the Payment Gateway page.
4. Complete a test transaction
We recommend testing the integration by processing a payment of R2.00 (this is the minimum amount you can accept per payment).
✨ You and your customer will receive a payment confirmation email after each successful transaction. To view payment details for all sales, select the Sales history tile/widget in your Sales tab in the Yoco App (mobile or web).
💬 Yoco for WooCommerce FAQs
How can I synchronise my refunds? When you process refunds through the Yoco App (mobile or web), your WooCommerce orders won't automatically update to reflect these changes. Follow the steps below to make sure that your WooCommerce orders match the status and amount shown in the Yoco App.
Check that you have the latest version of the Yoco Payments plugin installed on WooCommerce.
From WooCommerce Admin select WooCommerce > Orders.
Select Edit Order.
Find the Order Actions block on the edit order screen, then select Yoco: Sync Refunds from the dropdown list.
Select Update.
Please note: This process is only necessary when managing refunds. Regular payment transactions synchronise automatically between platforms.
