Card machine care tips

Yoco card machines are not waterproof and must be kept dry at all times. To avoid damage, protect from all liquids (even splashes of water, beer, coffee), rain, steam, and humidity.
Always charge your Yoco device with the supplied cable and charger.
Store it smartly. Keep your card machine in a cool, dry place. Don’t leave it near your sink, drinks station, coffee machine, or outside overnight.
Handle with care. Don't use your card machine where there's high heat, dust, humidity, moisture, caustic chemicals, or oils, e.g., inside a restaurant kitchen. Don't throw, drop, or stand on your Yoco card machine.
Charge it right. For safe charging, only use the cable and two-prong charging block that came with your card machine. Always use a wall socket when charging and check that the port is dry before plugging it in.
Keep it cool. Don't leave your card machine it in the sun for extended periods of time, or place it near a stove, motor, or anything else that radiates heat.
Keep it dry. Prevent water, beer, coffee and any other liquids (even a splash!) from seeping into the card machine and causing lasting damage. Make sure that you also protect your device from rain, steam, humidity and condensation.
Keep it closed. Don't try to open your Neo Touch card machine as the device will go into 'system tampered' mode and will need to be replaced.
Watch the weak spots. The card slot and charging port are open and exposed – keep them clean and dry at all times.

Card machine cleaning tips
Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down your card machine.
Use anti-bacterial wipes to lift stubborn dirt from your card machine. Do not use a damp or wet cloth as water could seep into the card machine and damage the internal components. Be especially careful when cleaning near the open card slot.
Wipe down your card machine regularly, but don't use excessive friction as this may damage the device's surface and keypad.
🚫 Don't use bleach, solvents, detergents or abrasive cleaning liquids on your card machine. Don't spray or pour any cleaning liquids directly onto the device. Keep your card machine dry at all times!
Electrical considerations
Don't charge your card machines during electrical storms.
Don't leave your card machine near electrical appliances or other devices (like air conditioners, electric motors, neon signs, high-frequency or magnetic security devices, or computer equipment) that cause excessive voltage fluctuations or emit electrical noise.
Avoid charging your card machine overnight.
