How does the Yoco Go work?

The Yoco Go operates by using the Yoco POS App and connecting to a smartphone or tablet via bluetooth. Note: You'll also need a stable WiFi or hotspot to process transactions.

Does the card machine come with a SIM card?

No, the Yoco Go pairs with your smartphone/tablet via Bluetooth, which must be connected to stable internet.

Do I have to download the Yoco POS App to use the Yoco Go?

Yes, the Yoco POS App must first be downloaded but it's totally free and quick to install. You can sign up and complete your profile in the App, and take your business to the next level with epic sales features.

Which devices are compatible with the Yoco POS App and Yoco Go?

The Yoco POS App is compatible with Android 6 and iOS 12 (and above) smartphones and tablets:

How long does the battery last?

The Yoco Go's battery should last a whole day of transacting on one full charge.

Can I hang it on a lanyard? Where can I get Yoco lanyards?

Which cards can the Yoco Go accept?

Can I enter card numbers manually?

Yes! The Yoco Go can integrate with all the features of the Yoco POS App - including creating and customising your own product catalogue, for seamless billing and checkout.

Absolutely! You can easily create different staff profiles, and assign different permission levels for security on the Yoco POS App.

1. See all your transactions in one place – cash, card, mobile, or online.

Whether they’re paying by cash, card, Apple or Google Pay, or online, all your sales are consolidated and reporting together for easy recon and management.

2. Access to Instant Payout

Take control of your cash flow and get your money in minutes with Instant Payout on the Yoco POS App. Got your phone on you? You can access Instant Payout! Open the Yoco POS App and go to ‘View Payouts’ on the home screen. Follow the prompts to get your cash in a snap.

3. Access Yoco Capital

Yoco Capital is a fast, flexible cash advance for our customers. Eligible merchants can check for Capital offers in-app, paid back via a small percentage of future transactions.

4. Keep on top of your stock and inventory

Add and manage your products, categorise them via brand and variables (like size, or flavour), to find what you need, when you need it. Find out more here. Set up low stock alerts from the Business Portal to keep on top of managing your inventory.

5. See your sales history

Keep track of your sales by viewing your entire sales history. View the details of each transaction, including the date and time, the item sold, the method of payment, and the amount of VAT paid. Here, you can also add a custom note or refund a payment.

6. Send receipts by email or SMS

Save paper and the planet by SMSing or emailing receipts. Or, if you want to kick it old school and print out an invoice, you can connect to your printer via Bluetooth. All from the App in the palm of your hand.

7. Access live support

8. Send free Payment Links and Invoices

That’s right! Give your customers the opportunity to conveniently click to pay you (faster) online, when you create and send secure Yoco Links or professional Invoices right from the Yoco POS App, totally for free. All you pay is the standard transaction fee.

How do I do a transaction on the Yoco Go?

You'll first need to download the Yoco POS App to sign up and complete your profile with Yoco. You'll then use Bluetooth to pair your Yoco Go card machine with the device on which you downloaded the POS App. Once paired, you'll start sales from the Yoco App before passing your Yoco Go to your customers for quick and easy card payment. After that, you'll send them a digital receipt via SMS or email, and have a live record of all your sales updated in the Yoco POS App.
