TABLE I Registering your Devices

Learn how to register your TABLE by YOCO devices so you can start taking orders, managing stock, and printing invoices right away.

Registering your Khumo card machines, countertop device, and Kitchen Display Screen (KDS) is done in just a few simple steps with TABLE by YOCO – and once you’re connected, your sales, stock, and staff tracking all run through one simple system. Here’s how to get set up and selling, fast.

Registering your Khumo card machine

Register your Khumo device(s) to a specific site so that your waiters can take orders at the table and send them directly to the kitchen.

ON YOUR KHUMO

  1. Switch your Khumo on and tap the blue Register Device button.

  2. A QR code and six-digit code will appear on your screen. Keep these where you can see them, as you’re now moving over to your TABLE back office.

⭐ Top tip: Watch the clock – it’s not quite right!

When the six-digit registration code appears, you’ll see a countdown timer on your screen. While it says you have 60 minutes to complete your device registration, you only have 10 minutes. So, don’t wait too long!

IN YOUR BACK OFFICE

  1. Log in to your TABLE back office at table.yoco.com.

  2. Hover over the Settings tab in the navigation bar at the top of your screen.

  3. When the sub-categories appear, select the Site Settings option.

  4. When the site list appears, find the site you want to register your countertop device to (depending on how many restaurants you have, you may have multiple sites). Then, select the pencil icon on the far right of the screen, under the Actions heading.

  5. Select the Device Management button.

  6. Select the Add New Device button in the top right corner of the screen.

  7. Add the six-digit code that was displayed on your Khumo and select the Verify button.

    💡 Important: When entering your six-digit code, please note that zero has a line through the middle (as in the first digit in the image below), while O (as in orange) has no line through it.

  8. When the Device Details screen opens up, add the serial number of your Khumo card machine in the Name field (required). This is an easy way to keep track of which card machines are registered to which sites, if you have multiple sites.

  9. Add the name of the location the device is being used in, e.g. courtyard, outdoor bar, balcony etc. in the location field (required).

  10. Select the green Save button in the top right corner of the screen.

  11. As soon as the device registration is complete, the name of the site that the Khumo has been allocated to will appear on the card machine’s screen.

Top tip: Test your setup before going live

After registering your Khumo, check that it's connected to the right WiFi, and place a test order to make sure that your orders and invoices are printing correctly.


Registering your countertop device

Link your countertop device to a specific site so that everything from sales and stock to staff and order slips syncs seamlessly. Once the device is registered, you’re ready to start selling, tracking, and printing!

ON YOUR DEVICE

  1. Switch your countertop device on and tap the blue Register Device button.

  2. A QR code and six-digit code will appear on your screen. Keep this where you can see it, as you’re now moving over to your TABLE back office.

  8. Select the Verify button.

  9. When the Device Details screen opens up, your countertop device will appear under the Name field. We recommend that you name it according to the location it will be used in, e.g. Front Desk POS, Balcony POS, Outdoor Bar POS, etc.

  10. Add the name of the location for the device (required), e.g. courtyard, outdoor bar, balcony etc.

  11. Select the green Save button in the top right corner of the screen.

  12. As soon as the device registration is complete, the name of the site that the countertop device has been linked to will appear on its screen.



Registering your Kitchen Display Screen (KDS)

Link your Kitchen Display Screen (KDS) to a site so orders from your Khumo devices go straight from the table to the kitchen. It’s the first step to faster service and fewer mix-ups.

ON YOUR DEVICE

  1. Switch your countertop device on and tap the blue Register Device button.

  2. A QR code and six-digit code will appear on your screen. Keep this where you can see it, as you’re now moving over to your TABLE back office.

  9. When the Device Details screen opens up, your KDS will appear under the Name field. We recommend that you name it according to its location and purpose, e.g. Pizza Prep KDS and Pizza Ready KDS, or Kitchen KDS.

  10. Add the name of the location for the device (required) – this can be the same as the name you’ve just given your device.

  11. Select the green Save button in the top right corner of the screen.

  12. As soon as the device registration is complete, the screen will display a ‘No active orders’ message (if you’re registering the device for the first time), or the current orders (if you’re re-registering a device).

Top tip: Check your filters

Once you’ve registered your KDS, check that your filters are set up correctly and that your orders display as required.
